This policy explains how CABOT Codes, a registered business name of BTC Ltd., handles personal information in connection with this website.
1. This website does not collect personal information
This is a static website. It has no contact form, no account sign-up, no newsletter subscription, no advertising and no analytics or tracking software. We do not set cookies and we do not build a profile of your visit.
2. Information our hosting provider records
Like any website, this site is delivered by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs for security and operational purposes. These may include your IP address, the pages requested, the date and time of the request, and your browser type. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with any other information.
3. Fonts
This website loads the Plus Jakarta Sans typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser requests the font, Google receives the request and your IP address. Google’s handling of that request is governed by its own privacy policy.
4. If you email us
If you contact us at hello@cabotcodes.com we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever you choose to write. We use that information only to respond to you and to carry out any work that follows. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share your message with anyone outside CABOT Codes unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
5. The Review Assistant is covered separately
The Review Assistant platform at review.cabotcodes.com collects account and usage information and is governed by its own Privacy Policy, presented at sign-in. This policy does not apply to it.
6. Retention
Email correspondence is retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond, to carry out any resulting work, and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations.
7. Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@cabotcodes.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
